Westerfeld Belgians Stallion Service is offering you a NEW and UNIQUE way to think about using artifical insemination in your equine breeding program.

Introducing semen available in a: "Breeding Dose".

You can purchase semen from either of our champion stallions in what we are calling a "Breeding Dose". One "Breeding Dose" will contain a least 1 billion normal motile spermatozoa, enough to give you one insemination, one time, for one mare. Reproductive physiologist recommend that one insemination provides a minimum of 500 million sperm cells to ensure adequate exposure to a recently ovulated fertile egg. Our "Breeding Dose" doubles that recommendation and offers you, the mare owner, an excellent opportunity to get your mare " in-foal".

We believe this approach to your AI breeding program gives you more of an opportunity to assess the economic impact of your breeding strategy. You may get your mare "in-foal" after one "Breeding Dose" or it may require additional inseminations, at which point you can evaluate the cost-benefit ratio of continuing to breed a particular mare. If you need additional semen just give us a call and we will ship as many times as you determine appropriate.

Each "Breeding Dose" is priced at $75.00 plus shipping cost. Call us by 10am EST DST any week day and we will ship your "Breeding Dose" via UPS for next day delivery.
